Oceana Cross Country Ski Association Seeks Public Input at Annual Meeting
The Oceana Cross Country Ski Associationís annual meeting is coming up, and the group is seeking public input about its work on the two local ski trails. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 7:00 p.m., at the Hart Community Center next to the Hart Library. Maintenance and grooming of trails at Pentwater Pathways in the state forest and Crystal Valley in the Manistee National Forest will be discussed. The annual election of board members and treasurerís report will also be on the agenda, and light refreshments will be served. The all- volunteer organization is in need of help with signage, clearing of trails, grooming, and other maintenance work during the fall and winter months. Membership is open to the public.
